Eagle Harbor Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is hiring an Administrative Security Specialist to work at Joint Base Anacostia Bolling. Your duties will include providing the client administrative and personnel security support services, serving as a customer service point of contact for visitors and assigned personnel, assisting with office and time management, providing access control, and performing staff coordination functions.

Position requires an active Top Secret Clearance with ability to obtain SCI/Poly. Position requires SSBI/T5 investigation within the past 52 months. Please do not apply if you do not possess the required Top Secret Clearance .

Responsibilities & Duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Provide administrative/customer support duties for access control, personnel security, and the security office
  • Serve as the point of contact for visitors, answer security related questions and other inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate branch or office
  • Take messages for security personnel, and review and recommend schedule requests
  • Establish and maintain office files and management calendars
  • Maintain a schedule of appointments for the security office
  • Schedule security interviews, meetings and other support activities
  • Pass, verify, and receive clearances, confirming security eligibility, processing visitor requests, requests for badges, and various certifications
  • Assist with onboarding and out-processing of personnel
  • Issue and manage badges for personnel and visitors, including badge creation and issue for new personnel and badge destruction for departed personnel
  • Assist with badge issues, updating accesses for personnel, providing visitors information support, directions and assisting in contacting visitor POCs
  • Assist in the set-up and conduct of the weekly briefing for new personnel introduction to the facility
  • Arrange and attend division staff meetings, track action items and follow up as necessary
  • Coordinate, task, and manage security action item responses for the office
  • Issue security-related equipment, records, receipts, or supplies
  • Research, record, and report statistical analysis for historical and planning purposes
  • Maintain tracking records and filing systems and archive files
  • Update security data, run inquiries, provide quality control, and develop reports using internal and external databases



Required Qualifications:

  • Position requires an active Top Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI/Poly
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications
  • Oral and written communication skills sufficient to compose and deliver responses to customers' routine questions in a clear and concise manner
  • Position requires additional clearance process and client acceptance

Preferred Proficiencies:

  • Knowledge of security specific systems, databases, websites, and software, including the Defense Information System for Security (DISS)

Working Environment & Conditions:

This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress. The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
