Automotive Body Shop General Manager / Collision Center General Manager

The Hertrich Family of Dealerships is looking for an experienced, dynamic Collision Center General Manager for their busy Elkton Body Shop.

Our Automotive Body Shop General Manager / Collision Center General Manager responsibilities are:

• Greet all customers in a professional and courteous matter
• Maintain and develop and excellent working relationship with insurance companies, fleet and manufactures
• Perform the duties of an estimator; examine and inspect damages vehicles and create estimates for repair costs to restore to pre-loss condition
• Prepare damage reports in an accurate and efficient manner
• Assist in controlling all production/shop costs
• Work closely with the employees on the computerized daily workflow and dispatches accordingly
• Support and assists all employees with any task when needed

Automotive Body Shop General Manager / Collision Center General Manager Qualifications are but not limited to:

• 2 years minimum of continued experience in a Collision Center or Auto Body Shop preferred
• Prior automotive body shop estimating/insurance adjuster experience required
• Understands and knowledge with collision repair process
• Confidence in handling high volumes and under pressure
• Ability to maintain a fast-pace workflow throughout the collision shop
• Strong computer skills with collision management software experience, preferred
• Excellent customer service, verbal and written communication skills, required
• Must be self-motivated, detailed oriented and organized
• High School Diploma/GED required
• Valid license, with minimal motor vehicle infractions
