Payroll Compliance Auditor

We are a prominent CPA firm based in Hauppauge, specializing in labor unions and related benefit fund audits. We are currently seeking Payroll Compliance Auditors to ensure employers comply with benefit fund contributions as per agreements. No prior auditing experience necessary; we provide comprehensive training for the right candidates. Payroll professionals, bookkeepers, data analysts, and recent college graduates are encouraged to apply! Our offices are located in Hauppauge, NY, Floral Park, NY, and Iselin, NJ, with multiple positions available across all locations.

Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze payroll and related records to ensure accuracy and compliance with pension and health fund data.
- Review general ledgers and cash disbursement records.
- Communicate effectively with employers to ensure eligible participants receive entitled benefits.
- Prepare detailed schedules and reports, and present findings to stakeholders.

Ideal Candidate:
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field preferred.
- Strong analytical and Excel/database skills.
- Basic understanding of payroll and tax records beneficial but not required.
- Proficient problem-solving abilities with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
