Responsibilities:

Peraton is seeking an onsite Security Administrator to oversee and manage physical security compliance in accordance with the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM). The onsite work location for this position is in Herndon, VA.

This position supports Peratons Corporate FSO focused on security program compliance with DCSA accredited spaces. Specific responsibilities include:

• Manage daily checks for secure areas.
• Oversee access control of secure areas to include badging, alarm credentials, and escorts as required.
• Complete random inspections and bag checks for the facility as well as ceiling checks.
• COMSEC manager of corporate COMSEC account.
• Document control and container management in secure areas.
• Execute SIMS updates and tracking for document control.
• Assist with processing visit requests for Herndon site as well as other Peraton facilities.
• Work with facilities and physical security teams for assistance with secure areas as needed.
• Manage facility signage as required by NISPOM Rule.
• Liaise between proposal teams, ISSM, and Classified IT for access to secure areas.
• Track and manage required trainings and documentation for system and secure area access.
• Assist Corporate FSO with document tracking and clean up in sharepoint and SIMS database
• Scanning and uploading fingerprint cards in SWFT

Qualifications:

• Active Top Secret clearance required.
• Minimum of 2 years relevant experience with BS/BA, Minimum of 0 years with MS/MA.
• Additional work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
• Requires physical security expertise regarding 32 CFR, NISPOM Rule implementation.
• Strong understanding of Open Storage Area Approval Checklist
• COMSEC management experience
• Works independently and stays motivated on daily tasks
• Experience with DISS required
• Familiarity with SIMS (or similar database) highly desired.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Target Salary Range:
$39,000 - $62,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
