WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Photographer to join our marketing agency that specializes in providing services to the construction and commercial real estate industry. As one of our photographers, you will be responsible for capturing high-quality images of construction sites, commercial properties, portraits, and events to showcase our clients' work and promote their services. The Senior Photographer will work closely with our marketing and design teams as well as clients to develop concepts, plan, and execute photo and video shoots, and deliver visually compelling content that meets our clients' needs and exceeds their expectations. They will also be responsible for managing all aspects of the photography process, from equipment set-up and lighting to post-production editing and image delivery. 

JOB DUTIES

Photo Client Services  

• Work with the Photography team in coordinating, booking, and executing various client needs such as headshots, portraits, architecture, progress photos, event coverage, etc. 
• Editing and processing images for final use 
• Advanced retouching for photos and to aid designers
• Backing up and archiving current and past projects 

Gear and Tech Maintenance  

• Maintaining and coordinating repairs for Visual Media gear such as cameras, lenses, lights, production equipment, drone, etc.
• Maintaining and organizing the Small Giants Studio space with the team 
• Researching equipment and tech to remain competitive and current with trends

Visual Media Lighting Technician /Assist  

• Lighting Shoots based on DP/Director’s desired look 
• Second Shooting Video and assisting on other VM projects where photography is not the lead 
• Running audio, editing videos, editing motion graphics

REQUIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• 7+ years professional photography experience
• Professional portfolio 
• Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Capture One 
• Strobe lighting experience (studio and location) 
• Have a very high level of social contact. Many photographers work directly with clients or subjects. 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and team members 
  Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to manage equipment, files, and project timelines 
• Flexibility and willingness to travel to various locations for on-site shoots 

DESIRED EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE

• Tether capture knowledge 
• Advanced retouching (frequency separation) 
• Adobe Premiere, After Effects 
• OSHA 10 
• Digital compositing 
• Drone experience (Part 107 Drone Certification) 
• Expertise in architectural, interior, and exterior photography 
• Knowledge of lighting techniques and equipment for various shooting environments 
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with clients and team members 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Able to lift 50lbs 
• Climbing ladders and stairs 
• Use their hands to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, or controls 
• Stand or sit for prolonged periods of time 
• See differences between colors, shades, and brightness 
• Speak clearly so listeners can understand 
• Hold the arm and hand in one position or hold the hand steady while moving the arm
• React quickly using hands, fingers, or feet
