Job Description Coastal Welding Supply, An AWG Company,has an immediate opening for a
Warehouse Supervisor at our Baytown,TX Branch, reporting to the Branch Manager.

Duties Responsibilities: - Adhere to all safety guidelines and ensure a safe working environment, while escalating concerns as appropriate to Branch Manager.
- Supervise warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision.
- Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution, and warehouse maintenance operations.
- Set up warehouse layout and ensure efficient space utilization.
- Initiate, coordinate, and enforce optimal operational policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all warehousing, handling, and shipping legislation requirements.
- Review inventory, reconcile with supply system, and review with Branch Manager.
- Work closely with all Warehouse Associates to make sure they are properly trained on all SOP's, operating safely, working efficiently, and pulling orders accurately.
- Preparing for upcoming deliveries and effectively communicating any adjustments.
- Ensure equipment, including forklift vehicles, is compliant and in working order, escalating concerns as they arise.
- Complete and review required order processing paperwork for accuracy.
- Complete all required training.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Requirements: - Proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor.
- Expertise in warehouse procedures and best practices.
- Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives.
- Leadership skills and ability to supervise staff.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Be a self-starter, a problem solver, and have strong attention to detail.
- Gas distribution experience or relevant related distribution experience is preferred.
