**Warehouse Supervisors** are a skilled group of individuals that masterfully help to organize the warehouse operations of receiving and moving materials and products within the warehouse.

**Overview:** Manages and coordinates all warehouse operations of receiving, organizing, and moving materials and products within the warehouse. Loads and unloads incoming and outbound company trucks and walk-in customers.

**Essential Functions:**

* Manages all warehouse activities in support of operations including but not limited to maintenance of building and grounds, receiving, storing, picking deliveries, and shipping materials.

* Allocate and move material to its correct place and ensure an orderly warehouse at all times.

* Perform minor building maintenance when necessary.

* Performs monthly and/or annual physical inventories.

* Coordinate and schedule vendor trucks for timely delivery.

* Accurately complete daily timecards

* Maintain the appearance of the warehouse in a safe and orderly manner.

* Enforces safety guidelines and promotes a safe work environment.

* Maintain communication with Purchasing Manager when inventory levels for products are low.

* Maintain a high level of customer focus in producing quality products and services.

* Supervise direct reports to ensure that duties and responsibilities required of a warehouse assistant are accurate, timely and executed to company standards.

* Have an overall knowledge of activities within the team and be able to identify and take corrective action for any problem areas.

* Attend and participate in all required company training programs.

* Conform to all company policies and procedures; and OSHA standards.

* Must attend all required meetings in relation to warehouse and overall company.

**Other Responsibilities**:

* Maintain a full understanding of all products by identification, weight, and size.

* Must have an understanding and knowledge of operating a forklift

* Verify truck loads

* Maintain a basic knowledge of trucks, forklifts, and other equipment to determine necessary repairs.

**Education/Experience / Licenses and Certifications:**

* High school diploma, general education degree (GED), or equivalent work experience and/or training.

* General knowledge of operation of a forklift and other equipment.

* Preferred building supply warehouse and supervisory experience.
