**Description**

**Essential Duties and Responsibilities:**

* Responsible for the development, mentoring, and accountability of all warehouse employees

* Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures

* Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts; reconciling with data storage system

* Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement

* Analyze logistics data, using methods such as data mining, data modeling, or cost or benefit analysis

* Implement safety procedures and standards in all warehouse operations

**Required Qualifications:**

* High School diploma or equivalent

* 2-5 years of proven work experience as a Warehouse Supervisor

* Ability to write and implement Standard Operating Procedures

* Expertise in warehouse management procedures and best practices

* Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

* Hands on experience with warehouse management software and databases

* Leadership skills and ability to manage staff

* Strong decision making and problem-solving skills

* Excellent communication skills

**Physical Requirements:**Light work. Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects. If the use of arm and/or leg controls requires exertion of forces greater than that for sedentary work and the worker sits most of the time, the job is rated for light work.
